drawing again

i had these dreams where i was doing these drawings so i woke up and tried to recreate them.

and i am really enjoying them in a way i havent enjoyed drawing in years.

will get some pictures up as soon as i steal a camera from the store.

i mean buy a camera from the store.

they kinda look like... um... well... super wicked.

well, in news, i am heading back to japan for a vacation. gonna see if it is still hot. gonna spend sometime in hiroshima but also a few other places. i got one a dem japan rail passes so i can go pretty much anywhere i want. gonna finally make it to shikoku and probably hokkaido. does the shinkansen go to okinawa yet? now that would be a bridge...

also , uh, oh right...

that is why i stopped writing.

actually i have been writing a lot of songs lately and i am feeling pretty good about them.

i am hungry.

at my job i dont burn myself as much as i used to and they finally installed a good ventilation system.

got really drunk in banff on st. patrick's day and now i hate the irish.

i got this program called reason for my computerbox. it is a really cool music making program that reminds me that i have no idea about music theory. what do you mean i have to play everything "in the same key" to sound good? what if i want the bass line to be c major and the keys in e minor? screw you music!!!! screw you ears!!!!!

i am still very hungry and while i write this my stomach is slowly taking over my brain.

i only have a few moments left actually...

tom is doing what he always does. i have been working on some recording stuff and if you click on my myspace page in a month or so i hope to get something up there.

it snowed like crazy yesterday. wondering why i live in such a cold country. the people are friendly, the weather is not.

and tom has been playing final fantasy x-2. this takes up alot of his time.

and cooking! i mad a kick ass thai curry about a week ago. plus i bought a huge ass thing of kim-chi, so i been having that everyday! my breath may stink but my stomach is happy!

sad to hear about some of my favorite bars closing in hiroshima over some stupid dance licence nonsense. makes me wonder what is going on in that city? i leave for six months and everything is changing!

writing time

it is time for me to write things and i will write the following things.

been working alot and getting overtime so i might even have a bit of cash. so much of a bit of cash that i will be able to do something with the bit of cash but... i am not sure what. will put some towards old debts and such. but i will still be able to do something more. maybe travel, instruments, go to a dog show, or buy new teeth. not sure what to do yet.

i have been sweating alot. not as a hobby but just because my work is real hot.

i really love strawberry milk. ya know, like chocolate milk but strawberry flavour.

got video games!

been writing songs a little bit here and there.

gonna go to sleep.

in other news, my job is trying to make it impossible for me to leave. they just gave everyone in the company a very healthy raise. i cant get out!!!! just when i was certain i was gonna take off and find something with better hours and better pay and more related to something i am even mildly interested in, they throw a bunch of money at me.

so i guess i am gonna keep it. for now. but if anyone out there hears of something better for me to do, dont hesitate to tell me. even if you are from a different place altogether. or especially if. not that calgary is boring (crying myself to sleep everynight cause there is nothing to do) but it always does a person good to see other horizons.
